Meet the Bonfire Shawl, a forever favorite pattern designed by Annie Lupton back in 2018! In this updated version, lighter gauge yarns are used with a slightly different stitch pattern. The vibe is still the same even with a few small changes. This is such a beautiful shawl, exhibiting the most perfect crescent shape and drape when worn!

Skill Level: Beginner to Intermediate Knitter

Needle Size:

circular needles or size needed to obtain gauge

Finished Measurements:  

Center Depth - 15” / 37.5 cm
Length (from center point to widest part/edge) - 25” / 62.5 cm

Gauge:

9 sts and 19 rows = 4” / 10 cm in MC1, wet blocked
8 sts and 12 rows = 4” / 10 cm in MC2, wet blocked
Note: The gauges of each yarn will vary slightly and that is ok.

Materials: 

Main Color 1 (MC1): 2 skeins (100% wool; approx. 123 yds (121 m) / 100 g)

Main Color 2 (MC2): 1 skein Knit Collage (85% wool / 15% nylon; approx. 123 yds (121 m) / 100 g)

Contrast Color (CC): 2 skeins Knit Collage (95% wool / 4% silk / 1% polyester; approx. 60 yds (55 m) / 100 g)
